Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy food manufacturing site in the East Midlands. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding across a range of production equipment, helping maximise plant performance and minimise downtime.

The successful candidate will be apprentice-trained with an Electrical or Mechanical bias, and experience in hygienic food production.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained multiskilled maintenance engineer with electrical or mechanical bias.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, food manufacturing preferred.
• PPM, predictive maintenance and reactive breakdown support.
• CMMS usage for maintenance records.
• Safe systems of work and permit-to-work familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment and systems.
• Diagnose faults, complete repairs and identify root causes to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to production teams to maintain efficient plant operations.
• Carry out instrumentation calibration and fault-finding on electrical and control systems.
• Fault-find on HMIs, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Accurately record maintenance activities, faults, root causes and spare parts usage within the CMMS.
• Review contractor RAMS and ensure all work is completed in line with permits to work, risk assessments and company safe systems of work.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, environmental and food safety standards.
