ALPLA UK in Bridgwater (TA6) is seeking a Maintenance Engineer on a 4 on 4 off days pattern to keep all plant machinery and services fully maintained for continuous production. Starting salary circa £42k (DOE) plus benefits and salary reviews.

Role duties include daily inspections and tests of services, rapid repair to minimise downtime, planned maintenance, and modifications for continuous improvement. You will work in a modern, family‑oriented environment and adhere to all health, safety,

Qualifications

• Transferable manufacturing experience is essential (Plastics, Packaging, FMCG, Food, Beverage, Pharma etc)
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 quals or equivalent
• Multi Skilled experience preferred (Mechanical bias)

Responsabilités

• Carry out daily routine inspection and test of services.
• Carry out repair of machinery quickly and efficiently in order to limit production downtime.
• Carry out planned maintenance as per schedules.
• Carry out modification to machinery in order to achieve continuous improvement.
• To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety, quality, hygiene and food safety policies.
• To implement, adhere to and police ALPLA quality, hygiene and food safety policy.
