Job summary

A global leader in armour technology is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mech Bias) to join their team in Coventry. This permanent, full-time role involves maintaining plant and equipment and supporting compliance obligations. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, electrical understanding, and fault-finding skills. The position offers a competitive salary range of £37,500 - £42,500 per annum, shift premiums, and various benefits including holiday schemes and bonuses. Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in a fast-paced preventative maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of steam systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical system fault finding.

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain all plant and building services.
  • Support the site's EHS compliance obligations.
  • Assist with implementation of changes to manufacturing processes.

Skills

Time served multi-skilled maintenance engineer
Electrical understanding (BS 7671)
Knowledge of waterjet cutting systems
Understanding of hydraulic systems
Ability to fault find on electrical systems
Good IT experience with Microsoft Packages

Education

City & Guilds / HNC / ONC

Tools

Microsoft Word

Forklift truck licence
MEWP licence
