Job description

Maintenance Engineer (CNC)

Location: Home‑based, within 2 hours of Manchester (Liverpool, Stoke‑On‑Trent, Sheffield, Leeds, Blackpool and surrounding areas).

Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum (On‑Target Earnings £50,000 – £60,000) + Van & Fuel Card + Premium Overtime Rates + Door‑to‑Door Pay + Excellent Company Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide fault‑finding and repair services on CNC machinery across the Manchester area.
• Travel directly from home to client sites and receive door‑to‑door pay.
• Maintain a local patch of work with no stayaways; occasional UK‑wide support when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and install required parts.
• Document service work and update client records accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service or maintenance engineer on CNC machines.
• Electrical knowledge relevant to CNC equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and reliable transport.
• Based in or within commutable distance to Manchester.
