Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Wakefield.

The role focuses on maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems, with responsibilities for PPMs, breakdown repairs, and ensuring continuous production across volume machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum recognised Level 3 mechanical qualification.
• Experience working within manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience working with automated conveyor systems.
• Experience fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and enhancing mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• General mechanical maintenance duties.
• PPMs and attending breakdowns, repairing and overall upkeep of automation systems.
• Maintenance of volume machinery through scheduled maintenance.
• Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) - Manufacturing

Location: Wakefield

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1 - Day shift 5:45am - 2pm
• Week 2 - Night shift 9:45pm - 6am, and Sundays 6:30am to 1:30pm
• Week 3 - Back shift 1:45pm to 10pm

Salary:

£45,000

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and enhancing mechanical and pneumatic systems

What We’re Looking For:
