Job summary

10 Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a West Yorkshire manufacturing site. You will maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems, with fault finding and preventative maintenance at the core.

This permanent role offers rotating shifts, overtime, and a strong avenue for improvements while minimising downtime. A hands-on, proactive approach and time-served experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have time-served maintenance engineering background with strong electrical fault-finding ability.
• Experience working on industrial machinery and basic PLC fault finding/diagnostics.
• Proactive, hands-on attitude and able to work on fast-paced shop floor.

Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 OTE (including overtime)

Must Haves

Hours

• Monday to Friday – Rotating Shifts
• 1 week: 06:00 – 14:30
• 1 week: 13:30 – 22:00
• 2 weeks: 08:00 – 16:30
• Overtime available at time and a half

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, fast-paced maintenance role within a well-established manufacturing environment.

You’ll be responsible for keeping machinery running efficiently, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance, and playing a key role in minimising downtime across the site.

If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and being a go-to engineer on the shop floor — this role gives you the autonomy to do exactly that.

• 18th Edition (advantageous but not essential)
