W Talent is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a Doncaster manufacturing site on a continental shift. You will support planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across production machinery, ensuring uptime and reliability while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role suits engineers with either electrical or mechanical bias, offering stability, ongoing training, and development within a successful engineering team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
• Electrical or mechanical bias with multi-skilled maintenance capabilities.
• Experience carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• A proactive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the site's maintenance schedule.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintain and improve the performance and reliability of production machinery.
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and update the site's maintenance management system.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Assist with root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring faults.
• Contribute to maintaining high engineering standards across the manufacturing facility.

Position Overview
