E3 Recruitment is working with a market-leading listed manufacturing business in the Wakefield area (Featherstone). The Maintenance Engineer role offers strong training and career development opportunities, including robotics and PLC training, with an OTE above 60,000.

The package includes 4 on 4 off days and nights (6am–6pm), a salary of 54,000 per annum, KPI bonus of 2,000, enhanced pension match, life assurance, share schemes and comprehensive employee benefits, plus ongoing training.

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent (mechanical or electrical)

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer;

• Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
• Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.

Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Electrical
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
