Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to join a manufacturing site in York. The role operates on a 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights 12-hour shift pattern.

You will fault-find, maintain and improve a range of packaging and production equipment while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Multiskilled engineering experience is essential.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and problem solving on production equipment.
• Maintenance on a range of manufacturing/production/packaging machinery.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure work is safe and correct.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Manufacturing

Shift: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights (12 hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out fault finding and problem solving on production equipment
• Maintenance on a range of manufacturing/production/packaging machinery
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Complying with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely
• Completing all necessary documentation ensuring that it is kept accurate
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements

What We're Looking For:

• Must have at least NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Multiskilled engineering experience
• Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing/FMCG
