Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a days-based role in Bilston. Salary £40,000 - £50,000 OTE with overtime, plus the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.

You'll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on production machinery, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and minimise downtime. PLCs and automated machinery experience advantageous; Monday to Friday, no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PLCs and automated machinery advantageous.
• Available for dayshift, Mon-Fri, no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and machinery reliability.
• Work closely with production to ensure efficient operation of equipment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established business based in Bilston.

The Role:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Responding to machinery breakdowns and minimising production downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement and machinery reliability.
• Working closely with the production team to ensure efficient operation of equipment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
• Experience with PLCs and automated machinery would be advantageous.
