Job summary

Places for People is hiring a Maintenance Controller for our Bath portfolio. The role is based on site with hours Mon-Thu 9:00–17:30 and Fri 9:00–17:00, with hybrid work after the initial training period (3 days at home).

You will triage maintenance issues, liaise with tenants and contractors and ensure timely payments of invoices. The ideal candidate has strong customer service, good IT skills, and experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders; a Basic DBS check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage maintenance of a portfolio of properties.
• Triages maintenance issues to the correct contractor promptly.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, landlords and the client.
• Pay suppliers invoices promptly and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with client, company and statutory requirements.
