Job summary

Places for People are recruiting a Maintenance Controller to proactively manage maintenance across a portfolio of properties in Bath. The role is based on site, with hybrid working after an initial training period (3 days at home). The FTC runs until February 2026, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key duties include triaging issues to the correct contractor, coordinating with tenants, landlords and the client, and ensuring supplier invoices are paid promptly. A Basic DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Strong customer service background.
• Comfortable using various IT packages.
• Track record of working with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the maintenance of a portfolio of properties.
• Triage maintenance issues and assign to the correct contractor.
• Liaise with tenants, contractors, landlords and client; pay suppliers’ invoices.
