Job summary

Touchstone Bath is recruiting a Maintenance Controller on a fixed-term basis to join our growing team. You will report to the Operations Manager and help manage maintenance across properties, ensuring compliance and timely responses.

After an initial training period of one month, the role offers hybrid working with three days at home. A Basic DBS check is mandatory, and you will liaise with tenants, contractors and the client to deliver efficient service.

Qualifications

• Property management experience is preferred but training will be provided.
• Strong customer service background and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfort with using various IT packages and systems.

More about the team

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Controller on a Fixed Term basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a great opportunity to join a growing area of the business.

This role is based on site at Touchstone Bath. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.30 and Friday 9am – 5pm. After an initial period of training (1 month) this role offers hybrid working (3 days at home).

More about your role

You will have to proactively manage the Maintenance aspect of a portfolio of properties ensuring that client, company and statutory requirements are always met. You ensure that all maintenance issues are triaged in a timely manner to the correct contractor who is responsible for rectifying the problem

Part of your role will involve you liaising with tenants, contractors, landlords and the client to ensure queries are completed promptly and efficiently and to pay suppliers invoices promptly.
