School Maintenance Caretaker

Rate: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

We are currently recruiting Maintenance professionals for ongoing TEMPORARY roles, supporting site teams with daily general maintenance and site work in Schools across the area.

Positions available include FULL TIME and PART TIME roles throughout the school year, with varying durations. There may also be opportunities to transition to PERMANENT contracts within the Schools, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE with working hours, as some Schools require split shifts (e.g., 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.).

As a full-time temporary school caretaker, you are expected to:

1. Perform general maintenance and litter picking
2. Complete odd jobs delegated by your supervisor
3. Open and close the school building
4. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
5. Set alarms

Requirements: You must fully register with us, providing right-to-work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check, which we will process at a cost of £47.20 (unless you already have one registered on the Update Service). Please only apply if you are able to do this.
