School Maintenance Caretaker

Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

We are currently recruiting Maintenance professionals for ongoing TEMPORARY positions, supporting site teams with daily general maintenance and site work across various Schools.

Positions are available on a FULL-TIME and PART-TIME basis throughout the school year, with durations varying. There may also be opportunities to transition to a PERMANENT CONTRACT within the Schools, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE with working hours, as some Schools require split shifts, e.g., 6:00 a.m. and return at 2:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and litter picking
• Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
• Open and close the school building
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Set alarms

Requirements:

You will need to fully register with us, providing the right to work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which we will process at a cost of £47.20 (unless you already have one registered on the Update Service). Please only apply if you can meet these requirements.
