School Maintenance Caretaker

Hourly Rate: 15.00 - 18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

I am currently recruiting Maintenance professionals for ongoing TEMPORARY roles supporting site teams in schools across the area. These roles involve day-to-day general maintenance and site work.

Positions are available on a FULL-TIME and PART-TIME basis throughout the school year, with durations varying. There may also be opportunities for permanent contracts, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE with working hours, as some schools require split shifts (e.g., 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.).

As a full-time temporary school caretaker, you will be expected to:

1. Perform general maintenance and litter picking
2. Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
3. Open and close the school building
4. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency
5. Set alarms

You will need to fully register with us, providing the necessary right-to-work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check, which we will process at a cost of £47.20 unless you already have a valid DBS registered on the update service.
