School Maintenance Caretaker

Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking to transition into the education sector?

I am currently recruiting maintenance professionals for ongoing temporary positions, supporting school site teams with general maintenance and site work across the area.

Positions available include both full-time and part-time roles throughout the school year, lasting for various durations. There may also be opportunities to transition to permanent contracts within the schools, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be flexible with working hours, as some schools require split shifts (e.g., 6:00 a.m. start and return at 2:00 p.m.).

Responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out general maintenance and litter picking
2. Performing odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
3. Opening and closing school buildings
4. Working independently and as part of a team to complete tasks safely and efficiently
5. Setting alarms
