School Maintenance Caretaker

Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

I am currently recruiting Maintenance professionals to work on an ongoing TEMPORARY basis, supporting site teams with daily general maintenance and site work in Schools across the area.

Positions are available on a FULL TIME and PART TIME basis throughout the School year, with varying durations. There may also be an opportunity to move to a PERMANENT CONTRACT within the Schools, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE WITH WORKING HOURS, as some Schools require split shifts (e.g., 6:00 a.m. and return at 2:00 p.m.).

As a full-time temporary school caretaker, you are expected to:

1. Carry out general maintenance and litter picking
2. Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
3. Open and close the school building
4. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
5. Set alarms
