School Maintenance Caretaker

Rate: 15.00 - 18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

I am currently recruiting Maintenance professionals for ongoing TEMPORARY roles to support site teams with daily maintenance and site work in schools across the area.

Positions are available on a FULL-TIME and PART-TIME basis throughout the school year, with durations varying. There may also be an opportunity to move to a PERMANENT contract within the schools, though this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE with working hours, as some schools require split shifts, e.g., 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out general maintenance and litter picking
• Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
• Open and close school buildings
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Set alarms

Requirements:

You will need to fully register with us, providing right-to-work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which we will process at a cost of £47.20 unless you already have one registered on the update service. Please only apply if you can do this.
