Job summary

Sanctuary Group is hiring a Maintenance Assistant for our Retirement Community in Warrington. You’ll carry out site repairs, decorate, perform routine checks, and liaise with contractors to keep the site safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance or a caretaker role.
  • Ability to identify and carry out repairs safely using tools and light machinery.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and a full UK driving licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Carry out site repairs and maintenance efficiently to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Identify maintenance issues and arrange specialist support when needed.
  • Complete planned tasks such as decorating and routine building checks.
  • Maintain safe and secure environments, including occasional gardening duties.
  • Act as the main point of contact for contractors on site.
  • Experience in maintenance or a caretaker role.

  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
