Job summary

Crimson Hotels Group is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for the DoubleTree by Hilton London West End to oversee H&S, IT and engineering within the hotel. This role ensures the hotel facilities are maintained to high standards for guests and teams.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment including heat, power, air conditioning and refrigeration, working closely with other departments to maintain exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Qualifications in plumbing, electrical or joinery work.
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.
• Good command of English and well presented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain H&S, IT and Engineering within the hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel plant and machinery (including heat, power, air conditioning and refrigeration).
• Collaborate with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure properties are kept in an excellent state of repair.

As part of the Crimson Hotels Group, you will join the team of DoubleTree by Hilton London West End which is a 275-room hotel is perfect for business or leisure stays. Our three meeting rooms accommodate up to 120 guests, ideal for corporate events, private dinners, and social gatherings.

What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Maintenance Assistant you will assume responsibility for H&S, IT and Engineering within the hotel. You will play a key role in keeping hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel plant and machinery (including heat, power, air conditioning and refrigeration). You will work closely with your colleagues in Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure the hotels are kept in an excellent state of repair.

What You’ll Bring

As well as having previous experience in a similar role, you will have relevant qualifications in general maintenance work incorporating a variety of plumbing, electrical or joinery work. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision and be able to prioritise your workload. You will have a can-do attitude, be adaptable and be able to respond flexibly to different requests and situations. Finally, you will have a good command of the English language and be very well presented.
