Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Network Construction Operative to join our Midlands-based team. You will deliver mains renewal construction activities on-site, including excavation, installation, testing and commissioning of new mains and assets, working safely as part of a small team to minimize disruption to customers.

The role requires a full driving license and ideally National Water Hygiene and NRSWA qualifications, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support a large-scale

Qualifications

• Full driving license required.
• National Water Hygiene and NRSWA preferred.
• Experience in utility-based industry advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mains Renewal construction activities on-site with a focus on water mains.
• Undertake excavation, installation, testing and commissioning of new mains and assets.
• Ensure safe and efficient delivery of large-scale on-site works with a team of six.
• Maintain safe site practices, manage access and minimize disruption to customers.
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders to provide updates and support as required.
