Job summary

NTT DATA Services in the UK is seeking an Implementation Manager for a Mainframe Product Migration, on a hybrid basis (London or Sheffield + remote). The role focuses on end-to-end deployment, cutover governance, and risk-managed delivery across technology, operations, business, and third parties.

Responsibilities include creating the integrated plan, coordinating dress rehearsals, and leading go/no-go decisions while ensuring ITIL-aligned change and incident management in a regulated

Qualifications

• Proven implementation/cutover/deployment management on mainframe or large-scale legacy migrations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the integrated implementation strategy and plan.
• Lead cutover planning with runbooks, rehearsals, and contingency/rollback.
• Coordinate release and change management activities.
• Drive environment and operational readiness including capacity, access, monitoring, and scheduling.
• Manage data migration activities with sequencing, validation, and controls.
• Orchestrate dress rehearsals and collect lessons learned.
• Lead governance: readiness reviews, RAID, decision logs, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate hypercare and BAU handover to support teams.
• Ensure alignment with risk/compliance/audit requirements.
• Manage third parties/vendors involved in deployment.
