Job summary

NTT DATA Services in London/Sheffield is seeking an Implementation Manager for Mainframe Product Migration, operating on a hybrid model (London or Sheffield + remote). You will plan, coordinate and execute end-to-end migration cutovers, ensuring a controlled deployment with governance across technology, operations and third parties.

Qualifications

• Proven implementation/cutover/deployment management on mainframe or large-scale migrations.
• Strong understanding of z/OS production operations, batch cycles and DB2/IMS considerations.
• Experience coordinating dress rehearsals and go/no-go forums in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the integrated implementation and cutover plan covering scope, timeline and dependencies.
• Lead cutover planning with detailed runbooks, rehearsal plans and contingency controls.
• Coordinate release and change management activities (CAB submissions and approvals).
• Drive environment readiness, capacity, access, monitoring and service transition.
• Manage data migration sequencing, validation and operational controls.
• Orchestrate rehearsals and capture lessons learned for runbook hardening.
• Provide governance through readiness reviews, RAID logs and executive reporting.
• Coordinate hypercare and handover to BAU post go-live.
• Ensure compliance with risk/audit requirements and engage third parties as needed.
