Job summary

T&K Associates are recruiting on behalf of our client near Barwell for Machine Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The role offers hourly pay and overtime with a supportive team environment and pathways to progression.

Key duties include operating machines, checking product spec conformity, monitoring the line, and performing basic quality tests. A counterbalance FLT license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience is desirable but not essential.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and perform repetitive duties.
• Own transport required due to location.

Responsibilities

• Operate the machines.
• Check product as per specification.
• Monitor production line and perform basic testing and quality checks.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Carry out other duties as required by management.
• If licensed, drive a counterbalance forklift.

Machine Operatives Job Details & Benefits;

• £13 - £15.50 per hour including bonus
• 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
• Extra overtime opportunities available paid at £19.50 per hour - Meaning further earnings!
