Brightwork Limited is looking for a reliable Machine Operative to join our client in a state-of-the-art facility in the Eurocentral area. The role offers a clear path to permanent employment and involves rotating shifts and opportunities to advance.

You will set and operate a production line, handle materials, and support the engineering team while maintaining safety and quality standards. Immediate starts are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role.
• Comfortable working with machinery and operating control panels.
• Reliable and committed to rotating shifts.
• Own transport may be required due to location and shifts.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operative to join our client's team in a new state of the art facility, based in the Eurocentral area, with an excellent chance to go permanent in due course.

Your Time at Work

• the main role involves setting and operating a production line, handling raw materials, working around machinery.
• Working to set targets and deadlines
• General cleaning and housekeeping of the factory
• Ensuring safety and meeting quality standards
• Assisting engineering team
• For those with forklift licence, you may also be assisting at the end of the production process as well as moving raw materials.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

• Comfortable working with and near machinery and operating control panels
• Reliable and committed to working a rotating shift pattern
• Own transport may be required due to location and shifts.

Key Information and Benefits

• Rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday
• Immediate Starts
• £13.60 per hr, starting pay rate - early/back shift
• £16.96 per hr for night shift hours should you wish to move to nights - only if an opportunity comes up.
• Regular overtime available and paid at 1.5x & 2x.
• Full 40 hours paid weekly
