Pennine Recruitment is recruiting 2x Machine Operatives/FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a client in the Castleford area. You will work in a recycling environment with clear career progression paths and a supportive team.

The role involves operating machines, data reporting, and material handling on a rotating shift pattern. Standard hours are rotating across 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00, with pay at £13.72 per hour plus overtime premiums for weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/recycling environment.
• Must hold accredited FLT Counterbalance license.
• Ability to work in a small team or on own initiative.

Responsabilités

• Operate machines and feed systems on the line.
• Generate reports based on polymers sorted.
• Complete administrative tasks onsite.
• Monitor and mind machines within the facility.
• Assist with lifting heavy items as required.
• Use FLT Counterbalance truck to move materials.

Pennine Recruitment (acting as an employment business) are delighted to be recruiting 2x Machine Operatives/FLT Counterbalance Drivers to work with our client in the Castleford area.

In this role you will be working in a recycling environment so any previous recycling experience would be ideal. This company has fantastic pathways of career progression for suitable candidates.

The role will include (but not necessarily limited to)

• Machine operation — Feeding machines and working on a conveyor belt
• Produce a number of reports based on the polymers that have been sorted
• Complete all administrative tasks whilst onsite
• Minding machines within the facility
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects due to the nature of the business
• Using an FLT Counterbalance truck to move materials

The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience

• Experience within a manufacturing/recycling role
• Must hold accredited FLT Counterbalance license
• The ability to work both as part of a small friendly team or work on own initiative
• Ability to work to targets/KPIs

Hours of Work

Weekly rotating shifts Monday to Friday (Must work all 3 shifts)

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00
• 22:00 - 06:00

Rates of Pay

Remuneration is £13.72 per hour with any overtime paid at a premium (1.5x Mon-Fri, 1.75x Saturday and 2x Sunday)
