Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a FLT Warehouse Operative in Rotherham to support a busy manufacturing environment, moving, storing and dispatching goods across two sites.

You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, pick and consolidate orders, palletise and load/unload goods while maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and teamwork on rotating shifts totaling 41.25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out manual handling and general warehouse duties.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve targets.

FLT Warehouse Operative

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.58 per hour following initial training

Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (41.25 hours per week)

• Days: 5:45am - 2:00pm
• Afters: 1:45pm - 10:00pm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Rotherham for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role supporting the movement, storage and dispatch of materials and finished goods across two sites.

Duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely within a busy warehouse environment
• Picking, consolidating and preparing customer orders
• Palletising, banding and moving stock into racking
• Loading and unloading HGVs and containers
• Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards
• Manual handling and warehouse duties as required
• Working both independently and as part of a team to achieve targets

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Previous warehouse experience
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Reliable attendance and good timekeeping
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

This role involves manual handling and requires a good level of physical fitness.
