Job summary

The Best Connection Employment Group is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Recycling Operative for a busy site in Preston. This full-time role offers ongoing work with long-term prospects and a pathway to permanent contract after a successful temporary period.

You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, load/unload vehicles, move stock, assist with recycling operations, and maintain a clean, safe site in line with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (preferred but not essential)
• Previous FLT driving experience (essential)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good awareness of health and safety practices
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude
• Team player with a flexible approach to work

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver / Recycling Operative to join a busy and growing operation based in Preston.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock and materials around the site
• Assisting with recycling and waste management operations
• Sorting recyclable materials where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements
