Job summary

Equans is seeking an M&E Technician with an electrical bias to join our team at West Middlesex University Hospital, Isleworth. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and associated equipment, ensuring reliability for hospital operations.

The role requires working knowledge of building services including HVAC, gas, medical gas, steam and catering equipment, completing PAT testing, and complying with BS 7671.

Qualifications

• Experienced in maintaining electrical systems, plant and equipment.
• Able to complete planned and reactive maintenance within your training and competence.
• Knowledgeable in building services, including HVAC, gas, medical gas, steam and catering equipment.
• Able to complete PAT testing and work in line with BS 7671 requirements.
• Reliable, safety conscious and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• A clear communicator who can work effectively with colleagues and contractors.
• Willing to complete training and qualify as an Authorised Person or Competent Person.
• Able to support the development of assistants, operatives, trainees and apprentices.
• Willing to participate in the on call rota and occasional overtime.
