Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking an M&E Operative to join the team at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on a permanent, full-time basis. You will maintain and repair M&E plant across the site, working solo or in teams and supporting refurbishment works.

Equans is looking for an M&E Operative to join our team based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

• Work alone with minimum supervision or within a team to carry out maintenance/repair of M&E services plant and equipment across the site. Work alone or in a team carrying out refurbishment and new works across the site

• Responsible for the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of M&E systems, associated plant/equipment installed throughout the site

• Undertake regular emergency lighting inspections and carry out necessary repairs/testing
• Undertake weekly fire alarm testing, unblock toilets, fit light fittings, paint walls
• Respond promptly and efficiently to plant breakdowns
• Willing to attend training to be able to maintain and carry out repairs on HVAC systems, electrical systems, piped medical gas systems and all other equipment in plant rooms, patient areas and other departments.
