Job summary

EQUANS is recruiting an M&E Supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance at University of West London campuses. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a 24-hour on-call rota. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are offered.

You will supervise M&E, fabric and grounds services, ensure safe completion of works, and monitor KPIs, CAFM records and contractor performance while liaising with university and stakeholders.

• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour teams.
• Ability to communicate with clients and management teams.

Job description

Equans is looking for a M&E Supervisor to join our team at the University of West London campuses. This is a full time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with participation in a 24 hour on call rota. On offer is a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

• Ensure PPM, reactive maintenance, compliance activities and small works are completed safely and effectively
• Monitor service quality, CAFM records, KPIs, contractor performance and statutory compliance
• Lead emergency responses and provide effective support to clients, university representatives and stakeholders

Who are you?

• Experienced in supervising mechanical and electrical maintenance teams within a Hard Facilities Management environment
• Knowledgeable in building services, maintenance practices, statutory compliance and health and safety requirements
• Experienced in managing subcontractors and direct labour teams, with confidence using CAFM systems and maintenance reports
• Organised, customer focused and able to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and management teams
• A strong problem solver with excellent planning and stakeholder management skills
• Holder of a full UK driving licence
• HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering is desirable
• IOSH Managing Safely or a similar health and safety qualification is desirable
