Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking an M&E Technician with an electrical bias to join our team at West Middlesex University Hospital, London. This full-time role includes participation in an on-call rota, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will maintain electrical systems, plant and associated equipment across hospital facilities, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and support on-site teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building services including HVAC, gas, steam and catering equipment.

• Respond to breakdowns, complete PAT testing and follow all safety and compliance requirements

Who are you?

• Experienced in maintaining electrical systems, plant and equipment
• Able to complete planned and reactive maintenance within your training and competence
• Knowledgeable in building services, including HVAC, gas, medical gas, steam and catering equipment
• Able to complete PAT testing and work in line with BS 7671 requirements
• Reliable, safety conscious and able to work independently or as part of a team
• A clear communicator who can work effectively with colleagues and contractors
• Willing to complete training and qualify as an Authorised Person or Competent Person
• Able to support the development of assistants, operatives, trainees and apprentices
• Willing to participate in the on call rota and occasional overtime
