Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking an M&E Maintenance Engineer / Building Services Technician to join a large FM maintenance team on a major commercial site in Coalville. This hands-on role covers planned and reactive maintenance across warehouses, offices and building services.

The company welcomes both mechanical and electrical bias and values practical on-site experience over formal qualifications. Salary £40,000–£45,000, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, with optional weekend overtime and a 1 in 3

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Building Services / M&E Maintenance Engineer role.
• Mechanical or electrical bias considered.
• Good all-round knowledge of commercial building maintenance.
• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the site.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Undertaking general mechanical or electrical building services maintenance.
• Maintaining plant, equipment and associated building services.
• Identifying faults and carrying out repairs where required.
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Working alongside the existing on-site engineering team to maintain the facilities.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Overtime: Additional weekend overtime available

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Maintenance Engineer / Building Services Technician to join a large FM maintenance company, working on a large commercial site in Coalville.

This is a hands-on role within an established on-site engineering team, responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a varied commercial environment, including warehouse facilities, offices and associated building services.

The company is open to both mechanically and electrically biased engineers, with practical building services experience being more important than formal qualifications.
