Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd is currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a prestigious commercial building on Liverpool Street, London. The role offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule and a salary of £46,000–£48,000, with a 1-in-4 call-out rota and potential overtime.

You will carry out PPM across the site, perform routine inspections, diagnose faults and supervise subcontractors, working with the Engineering Manager and team to maintain high standards.

Competenze

• Electrically or mechanically qualified with a relevant engineering qualification.
• Experience in PPM and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings.
• Able to diagnose faults and perform electrical or mechanical tasks within your competence.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors.

Mansioni

Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established facilities management team at a prestigious commercial building in Liverpool Street, London.

This is a single-site position offering a competitive salary, Monday-to-Friday working hours and the opportunity to work within a supportive engineering team. The role would suit an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer with a strong background in building maintenance who enjoys a varied, hands-on position.

The Role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the building.
• Complete routine site inspections and engineering checks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues, identifying faults and carrying out repairs.
• Undertake general electrical, mechanical and minor fabric maintenance, including lighting faults, leaks and water-related issues.

About You:

• Electrically or mechanically qualified, with a relevant engineering qualification.
• Confident carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance and general building services repairs.
• Able to diagnose faults and undertake a range of electrical or mechanical maintenance tasks within your competence.
• Experienced in working within commercial buildings or similar environments.
• Comfortable coordinating specialist contractors and working as part of a wider engineering team.
• Reliable, proactive and able to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Working Hours & Package:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (7:00am – 4:00pm may also be available).
• Salary of £46,000 - £48,000.
• Call out 1 in 4 - £100 call-out retainer per rota period.
• Overtime opportunities available.
• Single-site position based in Liverpool Street, London.
• Potential progression to Lead Engineer.
• 25 Days annual leave + Bank Holidays
