Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Electrical OR Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a large commercial estate in Euston. You will work in a 4-engineer shift team, carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance across lighting, control panels, BMS, plumbing and pumping systems.

The role requires multi-skilling, strong building services knowledge and good client-facing communication. Salary is up to £48,000 with overtime, training, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds Level 2/3
• 18th Edition desirable
• Provide trade certificates upon request
• Experience in commercial building maintenance
• Multiskilled with good communication

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
• Perform lighting maintenance including testing and lamping
• Inspect and service control panels and ballast changes
• Monitor and operate BMS systems for climate control
• Maintain and update building log books
• Address plumbing issues such as unblocking toilets
• Inspect pumps and motors and ensure reliable operation

Mechanical OR Electrical Engineer - Day Shift - FM Service Provider - Euston - Up to £48,000

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Euston has arisen!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical OR Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in Euston, to be based on a large commercial estate. He or she will be required to carry out PPMs and reactive building maintenance working within a shift team of 4 engineers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in M&E and general building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

4 on, 4 off
7am - 7pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
