Job summary

LGP Consultancy are recruiting an M&E Contracts & Procurement Manager for a North West contractor. The role focuses on building a new M&E procurement function, leading tendering, and securing subcontractor relationships.

The successful candidate will initially own M&E procurement and commercial buying with long-term potential to grow a dedicated team and align with business expansion. Salary £60,000-£80,000 DOE plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E procurement and subcontractor management.
• Strong tendering, procurement and commercial buying knowledge.
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve M&E input into tender submissions with competitive pricing.
• Source, assess and develop relationships with M&E subcontractors.
• Negotiate subcontractor rates, packages and commercial agreements.
• Manage procurement and appointment of M&E subcontractors across projects.
• Strengthen procurement processes for M&E packages and identify margin opportunities.
• Build a reliable M&E supplier network and collaborate with project teams.
