Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is seeking an experienced M&E Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical delivery on major construction projects in Manchester. You will coordinate M&E subcontractors, review drawings and specs, and work with project teams to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Design Managers and QS to manage costs, schedules and handovers, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards while driving successful

Qualifications

• Experience as an M&E Manager on large construction projects.
• Background with a main contractor or major specialist contractor.
• Experience delivering high-value commercial, residential or public sector developments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex M&E packages.

Responsibilities

• Managing the mechanical and electrical delivery of major construction projects.
• Coordinating M&E subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest standards.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Design Managers and Quantity Surveyors
• Managing quality inspections, commissioning activities and handover.
• Monitoring programme, progress and project costs relating to M&E packages.
• Attending site, client and subcontractor meetings.
• Identifying and resolving technical and programme issues.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to final completion.
