Job summary

Invictus Group in North East Kent is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong M&E Projects background. You will oversee multiple M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion, leading project teams and coordinating with Commercial, QS and Procurement.

This permanent role is office-based with occasional travel into London for site visits and client meetings; salary £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of M&E/Mechanical project management experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects from start to finish.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; stakeholder management.
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely; CSCS Black Card or willingness to obtain.
• Full UK driving licence; Enhanced DBS/BPSS or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple M&E projects from pre-construction to completion.
• Manage Project Managers, Engineers and Site Supervisors; coordinate with Commercial, QS and Procurement.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to client satisfaction.
• Travel to London for site visits and client meetings as needed.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity to work for an established building services business who are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong M&E Projects background. This is a permanent position based in North East Kent, paying a salary of £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

The role is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week and is primarily office-based, with occasional travel into London for site visits and client meetings.

Job Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong Mechanical / M&E Project Management background, ideally with 5+ years' experience, and be looking to take the next step into a senior Contracts Manager position.

You will oversee multiple M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing Project Managers, Project Engineers and Site Supervisors while working closely with the Commercial, QS and Procurement teams.

Projects include M&E works across education sites and commercial environments, so strong commercial project delivery experience is essential.

• Mechanical / M&E project management
• Managing multiple projects from start to finish

Skills Required:

• Strong Mechanical / M&E project background

• Education, healthcare or commercial project experience desirable
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
• CSCS Black Card or willingness to obtain
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Enhanced DBS and BPSS required or willingness to obtain
