Job summary

Options Resourcing Ltd is recruiting an experienced Contract Manager (M&E) to oversee multiple projects across the West and South West of England, including MOD and government frameworks.

You will lead commercial and operations, manage subcontractors, monitor costs and schedule, and ensure safety and quality in delivery. Commutable distance to Cheltenham is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong M&E background.
• Experience as Contract Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar.
• Experience with Principal Contractor.
• Proven ability to manage multiple M&E projects up to £3m.
• Strong subcontractor and client management skills.
• Experience on MOD/defence/government/framework projects is advantageous.
• Good commercial/contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ideally located within a commutable distance of Cheltenham.

Contract Manager - M&E

Location: Cheltenham / West & South West England

Salary: £70,000 - £78,000 + Benefits

Options Resourcing are working with one of the UK's leading M&E and FM contractors to recruit an experienced Contract Manager to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of multiple M&E projects across the West and South West of England, working predominantly across MOD and government framework projects.

The Role

As a Contract Manager, you will work as part of an established delivery team, taking responsibility for the commercial and operational management of multiple projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing multiple M&E projects with values of up to £3m
• Supporting the pricing and tendering of new opportunities
• Leading the pre-construction process for secured projects
• Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Attending client meetings both remotely and on site
• Monitoring project progress, costs and programme
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to the required quality standards
• Supporting the continued development of the company's presence across the South and South West

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A strong M&E background
• Previous experience working as a Contract Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar
• Experience working for a Principal Contractor
• Proven experience managing multiple M&E projects up to £3m in value
• Strong subcontractor and client management skills
• Experience of working on MOD, defence, government or framework projects would be highly advantageous
• Good commercial and contractual awareness
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ideally, be based within a commutable distance of Cheltenham
