Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking an M&E Coordinator based in Liverpool to oversee mechanical and electrical elements on live projects and tenders. You will manage design, focus on buildability, and liaise with tender and project teams to ensure design is developed in line with expectations.

The role requires coordinating the M&E design, installation and commissioning into the main programme and maintaining progress with designers, consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage M&E elements on live projects and tenders.

• Design minor work elements to meet project needs.
• Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide M&E input for live projects and tenders.
• Coordinate temporary M&E services as required.
• Provide construction methodology input and integrate into the programme.
• Manage information flow from M&E design team and subcontractors.
• Assist Procurement with material/subcontractor sourcing.
• Contribute to handover documents and improvements.

M&E Coordinator

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 + package

Location: Liverpool

Region: Liverpool

I am looking for an M&E Coordinator to be based in Liverpool working with a Main Contractor to work on various projects between £1m-£20m+

Main Responsibilities

• Managing Mechanical & Electrical elements of live projects and tenders.
• Managing the design process, with a focus on build ability and efficiency, to ensure the optimum solution is arrived at.
• Liaising with tender and project teams to ensure design is developed in line with expectations.
• Ensuring a programme is prepared and agreed with each designer, consultant and subcontractor responsible for M&E works.
• Ensuring M&E design, installation and commissioning programmes are incorporated into the main programme.
• Meeting with designers and subcontractors on a regular basis to ensure the design, installation and commissioning works are developing as planned.
• Monitoring progress of the design and works and updating the programme as necessary.
• Ensuring the design and works are managed in accordance with the relevant quality procedures.
• Designing of minor work elements to satisfy project specific requirements.
• Liaising with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers and third parties as appropriate.
• Providing M&E technical input and advice as required for live projects and tenders.
• Coordinating any temporary M&E services required.
• Providing M&E construction methodology input and incorporating in the programme where required.
• Managing the flow of information from the M&E design team and subcontractors and advising the project team of any impact on progress and programme.
• Providing necessary information to the Procurement Department to enable the procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Providing input to handover documents.
• Introducing improvements and innovations where appropriate.
• Liaising with the Commercial and Project Management teams on commercial aspects relevant to the role as required.

Salary is £25,000 – £40,000 (dependant on experience)
