Job summary

Invictus Group seeks an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong M&E projects background to lead complex M&E initiatives from pre-construction to completion. The role is based in North East Kent and offers a salary of £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

You will oversee Project Managers, Engineers and Site Supervisors while coordinating with Commercial, QS and Procurement teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in M&E project management, strong leadership and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Strong Mechanical / M&E project management background.
• 5+ years’ project management experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects from start to finish.
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely certification preferred.
• CSCS Black Card or willingness to obtain.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity to work for an established building services business who are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong M&E Projects background. This is a permanent position based in North East Kent, paying a salary of £80,000 per annum depending on experience.

The role is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week and is primarily office-based, with occasional travel into London for site visits and client meetings.

Job Role

The successful candidate will have a strong Mechanical / M&E Project Management background, ideally with 5+ years’ experience, and be looking to take the next step into a senior Contracts Manager position.

You will oversee multiple M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing Project Managers, Project Engineers and Site Supervisors while working closely with the Commercial, QS and Procurement teams.

Projects include M&E works across education sites and commercial environments, so strong commercial project delivery experience is essential.

• Mechanical / M&E project management
• Managing multiple projects from start to finish

• Programme and project delivery
• Managing project teams and subcontractors
• Client and stakeholder management
• Procurement and commercial management

Skills Required:

• Strong Mechanical / M&E project background
• 5+ years’ Project Management experience preferred
• Proven commercial M&E project experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Education, healthcare or commercial project experience desirable
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
• CSCS Black Card or willingness to obtain
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Enhanced DBS and BPSS required or willingness to obtain
