Job summary

Champneys is seeking a Front of House Receptionist to be the welcoming face of one of the UK’s iconic luxury health spa brands. You will manage check-ins, handle guest enquiries, and ensure a seamless reception experience across our resorts and spas.

You’ll be responsible for payments, coordinating with housekeeping, and supporting continuous improvements in reception performance. Full training is provided, with a focus on exceptional guest experiences and brand standards.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage payments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a warm, professional welcome and efficient check in experience.
• Managing guest check outs, payments, accounts and robe controls.
• Handling guest enquiries, resolving concerns and escalating where appropriate.
• Administering payments and end of day procedures in line with company guidelines.
• Preparing arrivals for future dates to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Operating the switchboard and transferring calls professionally.
• Liaising closely with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest satisfaction.
• Supporting continuous improvement of reception performance and profitability.
• Completing administrative duties and attending training as required.
• Always working in line with Champneys’ policies, procedures and health & safety standards.
