Job summary

Sir Devonshire Square – a bold, beautiful boutique hotel in City of London, operated by Sircle Collection – is seeking a Meetings and Events Floor Supervisor. You’ll be first contact for all functions, leading a team and coordinating with sales and F&B to ensure events exceed guest expectations.

Salary is £35,000 plus share of tronc, with 40 hours per week across five shifts. The role offers growth within a European luxury hotel group, based at Sir Devonshire Square Hotel, London.

Qualifications

• Experience managing events or banqueting in a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Experience working with high-profile guests and event organisers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Meetings & Events operations during service.
• Manage, motivate and develop a team of supervisors and waiters.
• Be main contact for clients, organisers, suppliers and vendors during events.
• Ensure all event requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with kitchen and operations for smooth execution.
• Create memorable guest experiences and resolve issues professionally.
• Coach and develop colleagues through training and feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Manage procurement through Birchstreet.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards.
