Job summary

Sir Devonshire Square in the City of London seeks a Meetings and Events Floor Supervisor to be the first contact for functions, working with our sales and F&B teams to exceed guest expectations.

You will lead event operations, manage a team of supervisors and waiters, coordinate with kitchen and suppliers, and ensure flawless delivery while maintaining premium guest experiences in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading events, banqueting or F&B in a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading Meetings & Events operations during service.
• Managing, motivating and developing a team of supervisors and waiters.
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, organisers, suppliers and vendors during events.
• Ensuring all event requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
• Coordinating with kitchen and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Creating memorable guest experiences and resolving issues professionally.
• Coaching and developing colleagues through training and feedback.
• Identifying opportunities to improve service standards and guest satisfaction.

Salary: £35,000 plus share of tronc

Location: Sir Devonshire Square Hotel, City of LondonWorking Hours: 40 hours per week, typically across 5 shifts between Monday and Sunday. Flexibility for additional hours may be required.

We’re now looking for a Meetings and Events Floor Supervisor who will be the first point of contact for all functions within the hotel, working alongside our sales and F&B teams, to ensure that every event exceeds guest expectations.

Your role as Meetings and Events Floor Supervisor:

• Leading Meetings & Events operations during service

• Maintaining the highest levels of health, safety and compliance standards
