Job summary

Ardencote Manor - Hiddenwell is seeking a Laundry Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. You will manage linen, towels and robes, ensuring availability and presentation across the hotel floors. This hands-on role requires strong organisation and a commitment to high standards.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with varied shifts. Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is useful, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a great eye for detail and pride in high standards.
• organised and able to prioritise tasks during a busy shift.
• Enjoys working as part of a team and is reliable and proactive.
• Understand the importance of cleanliness and presentation.
• Comfortable with the physical aspects of moving linen and trolleys.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement and availability of bed linen, towels and robes throughout the hotel.
• Ensure housekeeping trolleys and cupboards are prepared and stocked.
• Strip and collect linen from departures and return to laundry areas.
• Deliver clean linen and towels to designated floors during the day.
• Check deliveries against notes and report discrepancies.
• Prepare water bottles and trolleys for the next day.
