Job summary

Ardencote Manor - Hiddenwell invites applications for a Laundry Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team at our luxury wellness retreat in Warwick. You’ll manage linen, towels and robes, ensure trolleys and cupboards are stocked, and keep corridors and bedrooms guest-ready throughout the day.

This hands-on, detail‑oriented role suits someone organised, reliable and proud of high standards. You’ll work shifts across early and late hours, with weekends; previous housekeeping or hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, laundry or hospitality preferred.
• Strong eye for detail and presentation.
• Able to work in a hands-on role and move linen/trolleys physically.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement and availability of bed linen, towels, and robes.
• Prepare and stock housekeeping linen trolleys and cupboards.
• Strip and return linen from departure bedrooms; collect dirty linen for washing.
• Deliver clean linen to required floors and check against delivery notes.
• Washing, refilling and distributing guest water bottles; remove service trays.

Join our Housekeeping team and help us deliver an exceptional guest experience

We’re looking for a Laundry Supervisor to play an important role within our Housekeeping team. You’ll help make sure our bedrooms and housekeeping areas have everything they need, with clean linen, fresh towels and robes available throughout the day

This is a hands‑on, active role that’s ideal for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining high standards

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing the movement and availability of bed linen, towels and robes throughout the hotel
• Making sure housekeeping and linen trolleys are ready in the correct areas
• Keeping housekeeping cupboards clean, organised and well stocked
• Stripping linen, towels and robes from departure bedrooms
• Collecting dirty linen and taking it to the appropriate laundry areas
• Separating towels and robes ready for washing
• Delivering clean linen, towels and robes to the required floors throughout the day
• Checking linen deliveries against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies
• Washing, refilling and distributing guest water bottles
• Collecting empty bottles and glasses from corridors and returning them to the correct areas
• Removing room service trays and returning them to the kitchen
• Reporting any housekeeping issues, including spillages, breakages or rooms requiring additional attention
• Making sure corridors are clean, clear and guest‑ready at the end of each shift
• Preparing water bottles and trolleys ready for the following day

What We’re Looking For

• Must have a great eye for detail and takes pride in high standards
• Must be organised and able to prioritise tasks throughout a busy shift
• Must enjoy being part of a team
• Must be reliable, proactive and happy working in a hands‑on role
• Must understand the importance of cleanliness and presentation
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role, including moving linen and trolleys

Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry or hospitality would be an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important

Additional Information

• Full-Time position working 5 out of 7 days per week - including weekends and public holidays
• Shift Patterns: 7am - 3pm, 12pm - 8pm, 2pm - 10pm
• 40 hours per week
• Salary: £ 28,000 per annum
