Job summary

Chewton Glen is seeking a Receptionist to manage reception, cashiering and reservations within our luxury country hotel. The role focuses on efficient, profitable operations while ensuring guest needs are met with a highly personalised service.

You should have 4–5* hotel receptionist experience, be confident with Opera, and bring attention to detail, organisational skills and strong team communication. Staff accommodation and meals are provided, with discounts at Iconic Luxury Hotels.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Receptionist role within a 4* or 5* hotel.
• Experience using Opera.
• Keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident communication.
• Polished personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Be confident and proud to ensure guest wellbeing, satisfaction and comfort within the department.
• Use guest names at every available opportunity to personalise service.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and demeanour.
• Have a good working knowledge of all hotel departments.
• Understand and operate front office equipment (Opera, Paging Systems, Word, Email).
• Assist with parking arrangements for arriving hotel and restaurant guests.
