Harbour Hotels Brighton Harbour Hotel & Spa seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations, collaborating with the General Manager to uphold exceptional guest standards in a luxury setting.

The role is hands-on and strategic, guiding performance, staff development and guest satisfaction across all departments to ensure flawless service in a five-star environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Operations Manager or senior hotel leadership role.
• Strong operational knowledge and passion for hospitality.
• Hands-on, visible leadership style with excellent people leadership.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
• Commercial awareness and ability to drive hotel performance.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards.
• Calm and decisive under pressure in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience in five-star luxury hospitality is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on leadership across the hotel operation.
• Support the General Manager in delivering operational and commercial strategy.
• Lead and support departmental managers to achieve high standards.
• Champion an exceptional guest experience and respond to operational challenges.
• Drive performance against operational, financial and guest satisfaction measures.
• Support development, engagement and performance of teams.
• Maintain standards, detail and presentation throughout the hotel.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Deputise for the General Manager when required.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture for the team.
