Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the finance team in delivering timely operations across commissions, payables, receivables, and cost control. This on-site role at Knutsford involves working with front-of-house and sales teams to ensure accurate commission payments and smooth financial processes.

You will learn across finance sections while supporting colleagues during busy periods, with opportunities for development and a cost-conscious hospitality

Qualificações

• Proven ability to provide high levels of service under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience with Opera Cloud, Silverware, Adaco or SunSystems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Verify and process individual commissions for agents via Onyx.
• Verify and process event commissions, including Groups, with approvals.
• Accrue commission expenses monthly and coordinate with AP for timely payments.
• Be the point of contact for bookers; inform them of progress and actions taken.
• Coordinate travel agent commission queries with Sales or other teams for adjustments.
• Assist AP with invoice processing using Procure wizard; cover specific invoice types when needed.
• Assist AR tasks during high demand; process refunds per policy.
• Support Cost Controller with monthly inventory audits and other duties as required.
